Garden Notes: Events for June 3-9

Youngstown Garden Club will hold its annual plant and garden decor sale from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. June 3 in the Youngstown Civic Center (Red Brick School), 240 Lockport St., Youngstown. Profits are used to support three community gardens and fund local scholarships. Call Karen Noonan, 745-1283.

Garden Club of the Tonawandas will hold its sale of member-grown perennials from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. June 3 in Niawanda Park, Niagara Street, City of Tonawanda. The sale is part of the Weekend on the Niagara craft show.

South Town Gardeners will hold a plant and baked goods sale from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 3 in the West Seneca Senior Center, 4620 Seneca St. The club will meet at 9:30 a.m. June 9 at the senior center. Terry Skura will present a program on selecting herbs and kitchen ingredients for facials. Guest welcome. Call 668-0209.

Friends of the Kenan Herb Club will sponsor its annual herb and plant sale from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 3 on the Kenan Center grounds, 433 Locust St., Lockport. The sale coincides with 100 American Craftsmen.

Herb Gardeners of the Niagara Frontier will hold its annual plant auction at 6:30 p.m. June 5 in the Clearfield Library, Hopkins Road, Amherst. It’s open to the public.
