Our leaders have to stop fighting, work together
Politics and religion are things we need to talk about, not yell, rant and rave about. It does seem, however, that we are doing everything but what is in our own best interest. We should be talking, not regurgitating the last election.
Hillary Clinton voters are not “losers” nor are Donald Trump voters “evil.” We are “Americans who zealously care.” We just want what is best for our country, even though, sometimes, we can’t bring ourselves to give the other side the benefit of the doubt. What good does it do to insult Pope Francis or Muslims or even non-believers? Civility and decency should prevail.
Our leaders need to remember that “united we stand, divided we fall.” Life is too short for anything else.
