Countdown to #PrepTalkAwards: Who should win the [BN]spired Award?

The 2017 Prep Talk Awards are coming at us like a riseball, fastball, sprinter or a laser lacrosse shot (that takes care of all of the spring sports).

And here's your chance to help select one of the night's most special awards.

We are accepting nominations for the [BN]spired Award, given to the Most Inspiring Athlete in Western New York high school sports.

Inspiration can be found in many different things, and we're leaving the definition of the award open-ended on purpose.

Athletes can be any grade, any sport, any school in Western New York.

Include the basics – name, sport, year – and, most importantly, explain why you are nominating this athlete.

Deadline for submissions is June 2.

The 2016 winner was Simon Krywcun of Maryvale baseball; in 2015 the honor went to Sam Peterman of Sweet Home track and field.
