Part of Michigan Avenue in downtown Buffalo will be closed to traffic today as a crew films a television commercial.
The commercial shoot will close Michigan between Scott and Perry streets until about 6 or 6:30 p.m., according to the Buffalo Fire Department.
The commercial for Puralator air filters will cause intermittent street closures, said Tim Clark of the Buffalo Niagara Film Commission.
Part of the scene for the commercial will be a simulated traffic jam, Clark said.
The film crew may not need to simulate one with the road closure in effect.
