BASKETBALL: The Buffalo Titans annual Clash of the Titans tournament will be June 10-11 and is open to AAU and scholastic teams for boys and girls ages 10-17. Registration is $350 per team and is available at Discounts are available for registering multiple teams. The Titans also host a women’s summer league at Hilbert College on Thursdays beginning June 1. College and other competitive teams are welcome. Team entry fee is $300. Email to secure a spot....Canisius men’s basketball and Dick’s Sporting Goods will host a free skills clinic June 10, 10:30 a.m. to noon, in the Koessler Athletic Center. It will include instruction from Canisius head coach Reggie Witherspoon, his staff, and Canisius student-athletes. Enrollment is capped at 120 participants and they must currently be enrolled in grades one through six, due to NCAA compliance. Everyone will receive a gift from Dick’s Sporting Goods. GOLF: The Lockport City School District’s annual Athletic Hall of Fame Golf Tournament will be June 26, at the Lockport Town & Country Club, with a 1 p.m. shotgun start. The cost is $85, which includes golf, cart and buffet dinner following the tournament. Deadline for entries is June 22. For more info, call Mike Finn, 940-4958. LACROSSE: Lancaster Lax Association is accepting signups for its Tuesday and Thursday night summer league instruction and game play program, for grades 1-8. The program starts June 13 and runs through July 25. Cost is $170 and includes a reversible red/black jersey. For more details or to register go to

MEMORABILIA: Charles Stabile, Northeast Regional Sales Manager from Beckett Grading Services, will be at Bases Loaded Sports Collectibles, 794 French Road, Cheektowaga, June 9 from noon to 6 p.m. and June 10, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., for a card and memorabilia grading event. Beckett uses a one to 10-point grading scale to rate sports cards, which are graded on four key categories: Centering, corners, edges and surface. Grades from each of these key categories will be considered in determining your card’s final overall grade. Beckett also grades non-sports cards, magazines, pocket schedules and gaming cards. The cost is $15 per item, with 10-day service. Your BGS-graded cards will be returned in a unique, protective cardholder.
