Aaron C. Lampkin, 56, of Niagara Falls, pleaded guilty Wednesday to a reduced charge stemming from two Amherst store burglary cases.
Lampkin was allowed to plead guilty before Amherst Town Justice Kara A. Buscaglia to a misdemeanor charge of petit larceny for thefts from the same Niagara Falls Boulevard business on May 23, 2016, and Aug. 28, 2016.
The judge told Lampkin that prosecutors agreed to the plea to a single misdemeanor count after talks with Lampkin's attorney, Michael M. Blotnik.
Buscaglia dismissed a felony count of third-degree burglary and another petit larceny count against Lampkin during the court proceedings. Lampkin was allowed to remain free pending his sentencing Aug. 24.
