A Buffalo man faces an aggravated driving while intoxicated charge after a traffic stop Saturday in Allegany County, State police said.
Paul E. Sheehan, 55, was pulled over on State Route 19 in Hume for failure to keep right and speeding, according to State Police. The time of the stop was not disclosed. Sheehan failed field sobriety tests at the scene and was arrested, State police said.
At the agency's Amity barracks, Sheehan registered a blood-alcohol level of 0.18 percent, more than double the legal limit of 0.08 percent, according to police. He is due in Hume Town Court on Thursday.
