A Canadian man who stole more than $86,000 from his employer was sentenced to five years probation in Erie County Court Friday.
Justin Corbett, 36, previously pleaded guilty criminal possession of stolen property in the second degree. He reportedly was working in customer service for Kistner Concrete.
His attorney said the thefts began when Corbett had medical issues and no health insurance.
Prosecutor Gary Ertel said restitution has been paid in full.
Corbett lives in Arcade, but he is a Canadian citizen and may face deportation because of his conviction. He has no prior criminal record.
