Jake Cotter did the equivalent of grabbing an eraser last week, and wiping out the name of Kyle Barna from the Medina record book – at least on one page.
Cotter became the all-time goal-scoring leader in boys lacrosse at Medina when he scored his 182nd goal in his great career. Cotter passed Barna; the two played together three years ago when Barna was a senior and Cotter was a freshman.
Cotter's big achievement led to his selection as the Prep Talk Male Athlete of the Week.
Name: Jake Cotter

Coach Gordy Luthart on Jake: "Jake's statistics and accomplishments speak for themselves. I have had the privilege of working with Jake since he was in seventh grade. I would like to commend his parents, David and Mo, for raising such a great young man. It has truly been an honor to be his coach."
