Several new administrators have been hired to the Kenmore-Town of Tonawanda School District staff, joining the district's new superintendent, Stephen Bovino.
Christopher Swiatek was named the district's new assistant superintendent for human resources. He has previously worked as a social studies teacher in the Hamburg Central School District and as a secondary principal and director of personnel, technology and instruction in Warsaw Central School District.
Teresa Gerchman, who was named director of secondary education at Ken-Ton, taught science for 16 years and has extensive administrative experience in Rochester and Wilmington, Del.
James Nestico, who has 28 years of experience in the transportation industry, was appointed supervisor of transportation.
Bovino was officially appointed superintendent last month after holding the interim seat since January.
