Report: Bills to interview Beane second time for GM job

Brandon Beane, considered from the start the logical front-runner for the Buffalo Bills' general manager opening, could be a step closer to landing the job.

The Bills are due to interview the Carolina Panthers' assistant GM a second time Monday in Buffalo, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Beane and Bills coach Sean McDermott worked together the past six seasons while McDermott was the Panthers' defensive coordinator. They are also known to be philosophically aligned when it comes to putting together an NFL roster.

The Bills have also interviewed Houston Texans director of player personnel Brian Gaine and Philadelphia Eagles director of college scouting Trey Brown.
