Nick Sinatra has acquired a half-interest in a pair of commercial properties in Buffalo and Grand Island, paying nearly $6 million for the new investments that he plans to own and manage.
Sinatra and Company Real Estate paid $4 million to buy 50 percent of an apartment complex at 1954 Delaware Ave. in Buffalo from 2000 Delaware Avenue Apartments LLC, a company controlled by John J. Edwards. Constructed in 1947 on 3.2 acres, the 87,066-square-foot red brick facility has 108 apartments.
Sinatra said he plans to invest additional money into the apartment buildings to upgrade them.
Sinatra also paid $1.95 million to Edwards' Harbor Towne LLC to acquire half-ownership in an office building and self-storage complex at 1775 Baseline Road on Grand Island. The 73,000-square-foot facility, with a mix of small office tenants, was constructed in 1992 on 1.2 acres adjacent to the Niagara Thruway.
