Man, 22, accused of trying to sneak marijuana into jail

A Minnesota Avenue is accused of trying to sneak marijuana into a Buffalo police holding cell, shortly after being arrested on  Comstock Avenue about 3 a.m. Sunday on a Buffalo City Court warrant.

Quran Johnson, 22,  was charged with second-degree promoting prison, unlawful possession of marijuana and disorderly conduct, in addition to the undisclosed charges linked to the arrest warrant. He remained in Erie County Holding Center late Sunday night.

Police said  marijuana was found in his underwear by a police booking officer.
