Buffalo man charged with cocaine, pot possession after police chase

A man was charged with  cocaine possession following a brief chase by Buffalo police near his Theodore Street home late Saturday.

Dionttaa S. Bryant, 44,  faces felony counts of third- and fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance for sale, obstructing governmental administration and unlawful possession of marijuana. He remained in custody in the Erie County Holding Center Sunday night.

Bryant  got out a car  parked on Theodore, off Genesee Street, and began running after officers approached him, police said.
