A Georgia man wanted on an attempted murder charge was arrested this week in Niagara Falls, according to city police.
Emanuel D. Williams Sr., 38, of Macon, Ga., was arrested by city police with assistance from the U.S. Marshals Service on Wednesday afternoon after a traffic stop on Robbins Drive, according to a Niagara Falls police report.
Williams was charged in March in Bibb County, Ga., with attempted murder following a domestic incident, according to police.
A woman and three children were in the vehicle in Niagara Falls when it was stopped. Williams was taken into custody without incident, police said.
Williams was turned over to the custody of the Niagara County Sheriff's Office and is awaiting extradition to Georgia, the report said.
