Carl Paladino’s problems with Barack Obama are well known by now, with his comments about the former president getting him in hot water as a member of the Buffalo Board of Education.
But there was room for a little levity this week when Superintendent Kriner Cash made a favorable comment about Obamacare, and then shot a sly look at Paladino, trying to get a rise out of him.
“I’m kidding, I’m kidding,” Cash told Paladino.
That’s when Paladino’s ally on the board, Larry Quinn, mentioned that he voted for Obama.
Paladino looked at Quinn from across the board table and showed a hint of a smile.
“You never told me that,” Paladino said, drawing a laugh from those in the boardroom.
“I’m glad to see you still have a sense of humor, Carl,” Cash said.
