Lady Antebellum, Ballerini to play Darien Lake

What happens when you put three talented singer-songwriters in a rented house in Florida to record an album? Buffalo-area music fans will find out when Lady Antebellum visits for a show at 7:30 p.m. Aug. 10 at Darien Lake (9993 Allegheny Road, Darien).

Kelsea Ballerini, a young country artist who's signed to a music label with Pegula connections, is an opener, along with Brett Young.

Tickets, which run from $27.50 to $65.50, go on sale at 10 a.m. April 28 through, or by calling 800-745-3000.

Lady Antebellum, a country-pop group formed in Nashville, took a break in the fall of 2015, and their You Look Good world tour - their first traveling foray since the time away - will be in support of their album "Heart Break," due out in June. Ballerini, whose Buffalo connections were laid out in this Tim O'Shei article, sold out Town Ballroom in December 2016. See photos of fans and her performance on that night.
