Say bye bye to Bebe.
The fashion retailer will shutter all of its brick-and-mortar stores by the end of May, according to papers filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission. It will then convert to an online-only operation.
Bebe has one location left in the Buffalo Niagara market, at the Fashion Outlets of Niagara Falls. Another store at Walden Galleria closed in 2014. It has 134 retail stores and 34 outlet stores across the country.
A liquidation company will sell off Bebe's inventory, including its fixtures, equipment and furnishings.
Mall brands have suffered as traffic has declined and as consumers increasingly shop online. Department stores such as Sears and JC Penney, as well as teen retailers such as Rue21 and Wet Seal have had sweeping closures, and more are expected to come.
