A University at Buffalo student survived a possible attempted suicide Wednesday morning after jumping from a seventh-floor window of a residence hall on the South Campus, officials said.
UB police said the male student apparently jumped at 11:10 a.m. from the seventh story of Goodyear Hall, said university spokesman John Della Contrada. The student was transported to Erie County Medical Center. His condition was not released.
"The university is in contact with his family and his friends and is offering whatever assistance we can," Della Contrada said.
