GERRY – A Jamestown man was charged with felony driving while intoxicated following a crash Tuesday on Route 60 in Gerry.
Casey Billyard, 24, had been driving erratically as he headed north before his vehicle left the road and crashed.
Billyard was evaluated at the scene but was not injured, police said.
Though he posted a blood-alcohol level of .10 percent, the charge was upgraded to a felony because Billyard had a previous DWI conviction within the past 10 years, police said.
He faces an appearance in Gerry Town Court.
