Add Temple's Phillip (P.J.) Walker to the list of quarterback prospects who have drawn the attention of the Buffalo Bills.
The Bills had Walker in for a pre-draft visit last week, The Buffalo News confirmed with an NFL source Monday. The visit was first reported by Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle.
Citing a league source, Wilson reported that Walker also visited the Green Bay Packers and New York Giants, and would also attend the Philadelphia Eagles' local prospects day.
In 49 career games for the Owls, Walker has completed 830 of 1,458 passes for 10,688 yards and 74 touchdowns, with 44 interceptions. His passer rating was 129.1.
Besides Walker, the Bills also have had University of Pittsburgh quarterback Nate Peterman in for a visit and have held private workouts with North Carolina's Mitchell Trubisky, Notre Dame's DeShone Kizer, and Texas Tech's Patrick Mahomes.
