NIAGARA FALLS - A Woodbridge, Ont., woman who spent $600 playing the slot machines of Seneca Niagara Casino Saturday finally hit the jackpot – and lost the jackpot.
And, Pasqua Digianna, 69, was shown the door after casino officials learned she was banned from the site on May 28, 2015. Circumstances behind the ban and the size of the jackpot were not revealed.
Niagara Falls Police were called to the casino at 8 p.m. by security crews. Digianna, police said, was refunded the $600 she spent on the slots and also issued an appearance ticket for trespassing, returnable in City Court.
Police noted that the Ontario woman, who arrived at the casino with her husband earlier Saturday evening, said she didn't realize the ban was still in effect.
