The 13th annual Taste of the Southtowns will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. April 23 in St. Aloysius Hall, 190 Franklin St., Springville.
Six restaurants will be serving 40 food items, including favorites such as prime rib, salmon, beef tenderloin, crab cakes, beef on weck, tacos, soups and peanut butter pie. Food items range in price from $2 to $5.
Also featured are basket and silent auctions, two bands – the Rustic Ramblers and Wagner & Winston – and massages by Eric Davis for $1 per minute.
Admission is free with the purchase of auction or food tickets. Proceeds benefit Gooseneck Hill Waterfowl Sanctuary, considered the largest waterfowl sanctuary in the United States, with more than 700 ducks, geese and swans.
