Supervisor Mary K. Hosler will deliver the State of the Town address April 25 in Evans, a town going through a fiscal crisis.
Hosler, who won election as town supervisor in November 2015, has been dealing with the crisis since last year. When she took office, the town had a negative fund balance of $523,000. In December, the town sought a $980,000 short-term loan from Erie County, an unprecedented request that the Legislature approved.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m., and the address will start at in Lake Shore Central Middle School auditorium, 8855 Erie Road, Evans.
