Habitat for Humanity Buffalo to start building 300th house

Habitat for Humanity Buffalo will reach a milestone on Monday, when it breaks ground for its 300th house since its founding in 1985.

Habitat Buffalo's founder, Ron Talboys, and its executive director, Teresa Bianchi, will be on hand for a ceremony at 42 Wende St. The ceremony will also commemorate the organization's 25 years of partnership with Valu Home Centers. Once the house is completed, which is expected this fall, it will be dedicated in honor of the hardware company.
