NIAGARA FALLS – A mother and daughter are being sought on assault charges connected to the attack Friday on a 21-year-old woman, Niagara Falls police said.
The victim was entering a Niagara Street store about 3:30 p.m. when she was attacked by a woman, also 21, identified as a former friend, police said. The victim was punched in the head several times before the mother, 39, got out of a vehicle, grabbed her by the neck and hair and punched her twice in the face, police said.
The victim was punched and kicked repeatedly before passers-by broke up the fight, said police, who added that the woman sought hospital treatment.
