Damage from shots fired at Niagara Falls home estimated at $2,100

NIAGARA FALLS – Several shots were fired outside a North Avenue home Sunday morning, police said, with three of them penetrating a wall and window and lodging in the screen of a TV set.

Police said the shots were fired between 2 and 2:20 a.m. and the owner of the home discovered bullet holes in siding and a picture window. There also were three bullet holes in the TV set, with two flattened projectiles nearby on the floor, said police, who added that three spent shell casings were found in front of the home.

Damage was estimated at $2,100. An investigation is underway.
