A 29-year-old man from Georgia was accused of possessing drugs after he was pulled over in the 3500 block of Main Street in Amherst following an apparent traffic incident early Wednesday.

Michael D. Rollins of Douglasville was charged at about 2:29 a.m. with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance after a quantity of a narcotic was allegedly found in his vehicle and third-degree unlicensed operation of a vehicle, Amherst police said.
