Beth Phoenix: Dream sparked at Canisius reaches WWE Hall of Fame this weekend at WrestleMania 33

Beth Phoenix.

Whatever you call her, put Hall of Famer in front of it.

Phoenix/Kocianski/Copeland joined "The Graham Show" to talk about her career and what inspired her as a Canisius student to chase a dream many would ridicule as impossible.

She was Kocianski while growing up in Elmira and attending Canisius College. Her married name is Copeland.

She gained international fame as Beth Phoenix, the three time WWE women's world champ, one-time WWE Divas champ and one of only three women to participate in a Royal Rumble.

The WWE will induct her in its Hall of Fame this weekend as part of WrestleMania 33 festivities. She'll be the Hall's youngest member and complete the first husband-wife (Adam "Edge" Copeland's already in) membership.

She spent part of her busy week on the phone with Buffalo News videographer Jonah Bronstein, wrestling aficionado Polo Kerber from the heyymann Studios on Main Street, producer extraordinaire Bobby Rosati and me back at the Sports Radio 1270 The Fan studios.
