A Clarence driver on Sunday struck a parked vehicle on Circle Court in the town, surveyed the damage and left without reporting the incident - also dropping her cellphone at the scene, State Police said.
Shortly after, troopers discovered the damage vehicle and found the cellphone, which rang while they interviewed the vehicle's owner, police said. On the other end of the line was the driver, who volunteered her location, police added.
Kelley Perkins, 39, was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated and leaving the scene of a property damage accident. Police said she posted a blood-alcohol level of 0.19 percent.
