Gibraltar Industries has promoted Timothy Murphy to replace the retiring Kenneth Smith as chief financial officer of the Hamburg-based building products manufacturer.
Murphy, 53, has worked at Gibraltar since 2004 and has been its treasurer since 2013. Before that, he was a senior manager at accounting firm KPMG. He has a bachelor's degree and a master's in business administration from the University at Buffalo.
Murphy will take over as CFO on April 1. Smith plans to stay on at Gibraltar during a transition period.
