NIAGARA FALLS - A woman driving with a 4-month-old child in her car faces an array of charges including aggravated driving while intoxicated, according to the Niagara County Sheriff's Office.
Shayonna S. Miller, 27, of Niagara Falls, was pulled over in the McDonald's parking lot at Niagara Falls Boulevard and Military Road at 12:16 a.m. Tuesday, the Sheriff's Office said.
Miller drove through a red light at that intersection, which led to the stop, authorities said. An adult male was also in the vehicle.
In addition to aggravated DWI, Miller was charged with aggravated DWI under Leandra's Law, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, unlicensed operation, switched plates, driving an unregistered vehicle, driving an uninspected vehicle, driving an uninsured vehicle, child endangerment and passing a red light.
An aggravated DWI charge is lodged when a driver is accused of having a blood-alcohol level of 0.18 percent or higher. The Sheriff's Office did not specify Miller's blood-alcohol level.
She was being held in the Niagara County Jail in lieu of $750 bail and is due in Niagara Falls City Court on Wednesday morning.
