Fire in Hartland motor home spreads to barn

HARTLAND - Firefighters from several companies Saturday night battled a fire that started in a motor home and spread to a barn  at 7321 Ridge Road.

The fire was reported about  5:45 p.m., and when deputies  arrived on the scene both the motor home and barn were fully engulfed, authorities said.

The blaze was extinguished by firefighters from companies including Wrights Corners,  Miller Hose, Gasport Chemical Hose and Terry's Corners. No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire is unknown. The Niagara County Origin and Cause Team is investigating, according to the Niagara County Sheriff's Office. An estimated damage was unavailable.
