Cleanup along Delaware Avenue to begin, in preparation for Sunday parade

Crews from the Buffalo Department of Public Works late Thursday were set to begin snow removal and other cleanup operations along Delaware Avenue, in preparation for Sunday's St. Patrick's Day Parade, according to a spokesman for Mayor Byron W. Brown.

Crews were expected to work through the overnight hours and will likely continue cleanup throughout the day on Friday and Saturday.

The effort will include removing snow from along the sidewalks, as well as from curb to curb in the street, on Delaware from Niagara Square to North Street.
