Williamsville woman accused of dancing on hood of Buffalo police vehicle

Two boisterous celebrants -- including one woman who danced on the hood of a patrol car -- were jailed early Saturday by Central District police who were called to the 400 block of Franklin Street to shut down a rowdy party, police reported.

Carla N. Peterson, 20, of Williamsville, was charged with criminal mischief around 4 a.m.,  police said. Peterson's actions occurred in the vicinity of 481 Franklin and caused a crowd to gather on the sidewalk and street, blocking pedestrian and vehicular traffic, police said.

It also caused scratches on the hood of Buffalo Police Department vehicle 612, police reported.

Deiondre J. Jackson, 20, of St. Lawrence Avenue faces disorderly conduct charges because he returned to the party after officers ordered him to leave, police said. Jacksonused vulgar language and was uncooperative, police reported.
