NIAGARA FALLS - A Seventh Street man faces a long list of charges after police said they caught him driving a stolen car Friday night.
Jamell Parker, 26, is charged with resisting arrest, reckless driving, speeding, third-degree unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and second-degree criminal possession of stolen property.
Police said officers who attempted to stop the car near Memorial Parkway about 8:30 p.m. were led on a chase, in which Parker ran stop signs and red lights while driving 45 mph in a 30 mph zone.
Parker and a passenger jumped from the car in the 500 block of Eighth Street, where Parker was quickly apprehended, police said. The passenger escaped, police added.
