Richard and Carolyn Perry to celebrate 50th anniversary

Mr. and Mrs. Richard Perry of the Town of Tonawanda will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a party given by their children April 2 for family and friends. Mr. Perry and the former Carolyn Rizzo, who were high school sweethearts growing up on the West Side, were married Feb. 4, 1967, in Annunciation Church on Lafayette Avenue, currently named Our Lady of Hope. After working for 35 years as a grocer at B-Kwik in Riverside, he retired from Amtrak in Rochester. She retired from work as a medical secretary for Dr. Rizzo in the Town of Tonawanda. They have two children and one grandchild.
