Cheektowaga forums target cybersafety

Parents need all the help they can get in guiding their children safely through the social media labyrinth.

And now there is help.

Cheektowaga Police in conjunction with the Cheektowaga Town Board, the Community Crime Prevention Office and various school districts are presenting three forums in March and April on cybersafety.

Expected to attend will be members from the: assessor's office, community development, building/housing, senior center, youth/recreation and the clerk's office.

The forums will begin at 6:30 p.m. and conclude with the community outreach at 7.

The forum dates and locations are

  • March 29: Maryvale High School, 1050 Maryvale Drive.
  • March 30: Cheektowaga Central, 3600 Union Road.
  • April 6: Cleveland Hill High School, 105 Mapleview Road.
