The Niagara Junior Purple Eagles were chosen as one of the local youth hockey organizations to partner with the Buffalo Sabres, the NHL and its players association to launch the leaguewide “Learn to Play” initiative. The eight-week program, aimed at boys and girls 4 to 8 years old who are first-time participants, was developed to offer more families a chance to join the hockey community and experience the potential benefits of being involved in the sport.
