A 25-year-old Buffalo man who was a passenger in a car stopped by Buffalo police early Sunday ended up in custody on a felony weapons charge.
Police said they saw the car in which Aaron Mack was a passenger going too fast on Broadway and pulled it over at Warren Avenue about 2 a.m. The suspect reportedly got out of the car's rear seat and ran along Broadway.
Mack was captured in a yard in the 1100 block of Broadway and officers reported seizing a 9 m.m. handgun loaded with one bullet in the chamber and 11 bullets in its magazine. Mack was charged with second-degree criminal possession of a weapon and obstructing justice.
