Mason Miller of the University at Buffalo was named the Outstanding Swimmer of the Meet after he won the 100 freestyle in 44.03 seconds Saturday in the final night of competition in the Mid-American Conference men’s swimming and diving championships in Carbondale, Ill. It was Miller’s third individual win of the meet. Miller made the All-MAC first team along with backstroker Hudson Carroll. Troy Birdsall of the Bulls took second in the 3-meter diving and UB’s 400 freestyle relay triumphed on the final night of the meet.
Eastern Michigan edged Missouri State by one point, 717-716 for the team title. UB was third with 661.5 points.
