A 50-year-old Buffalo man was taken to Erie County Medical Center after he allegedly jumped on the hoods of a car and an NFTA van early Friday morning, NFTA spokesman C. Douglas Hartmayer said.
The incidents took place at about 4:50 a.m. on Military Road and Race Street.
The man first jumped on a car, slid off and then jumped on the NFTA PAL van, which is used to transport disabled riders. There were no passengers in the vehicle at the time, Hartmayer said.
The man allegedly told first responders that he had smoked crack cocaine. No one was injured, but the man was taken by ambulance to ECMC for evaluation.
