A Buffalo woman faces assault and drug charges after she was arrested Thursday following an alleged fight with another woman outside an apartment on Grove Street, according to City of Tonawanda police.
Rebecca D. Nugent, 22, a resident of Fulton Street, was charged with assault, harassment and criminal possession of a controlled substance, according to City of Tonawanda police.
The 36-year-old woman with whom Nugent fought suffered facial cuts after allegedly being punched by Nugent, police said.
During a search of Nugent following her arrest, she was allegedly found to be in possession of four crack cocaine pipes, needles and two plastic vials of cocaine that were stashed in a plastic baggie contained in her underwear, police said.
Nugent was being held in police custody Thursday on $250 bail, authorities said.
