Bisons set 2017 ticket prices, sale dates

The Buffalo Bisons have announced that single-game tickets for the 2017 season will go on sale Friday, March 10 at 10 a.m., both online at and at the Coca-Cola Field box office.

The team will hold an online presale starting Tuesday at 10 a.m. and running through March 9 at midnight. There will be no service fees for tickets purchased at during this period.

Adult tickets range from $12.50-$15.50, based on seat location and day of the week, and general admission for youths and seniors are $9.50 ($10.50 on Friday). Fans get $2 discounts on all tickets purchased in advance of game day. The team has raised ticket prices for all levels 50 cents per game this year.

The team is continuing its new seating project and Phase 2 for the 2017 season features nearly 2,900 wider seats in the lower half of Sections 115, 117 and 119 on the third-base side of the ballpark and Sections 116, 118, 120 and 122 on the first-base side. They are identical to the green seats installed in the home plate sections prior to the 2015 season.

Capacity of the ballpark is now listed at 16,907, the smallest since it opened in 1988. Opening Day is Thursday, April 6 against the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees.

The online sale will be the first chance for fans to purchase single-game tickets to Opening Day, the 10th annual Star Wars Night (June 3), the 23rd Annual Independence Eve Celebration with the BPO (July 3), Superhero Night (August 19) or any of the Bisons’ 71 home games.
