A 24-year-old Buffalo man was arrested Tuesday after he allegedly tried to enter the Edward A. Rath County Office Building with a stun gun, the Erie County Sheriff's Office reported.
Joshua Strauss was stopped in the security area after deputies discovered the weapon among other personal items, authorities said.
Strauss became "disorderly" as he was being placed into custody, officials said. No injuries were reported. The incident took place in the DMV area of the building.
Strauss was charged with criminal possession of a weapon and disorderly conduct. He was scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday in Buffalo City Court.
