INDIANAPOLIS -- Free-agent linebacker Lorenzo Alexander said Tuesday his agent would be meeting with representatives of the Buffalo Bills here Saturday to discuss a new contract with the team.
He said he would like to remain with the Bills if a deal can be worked out, but the two sides are very early in the process.
"We haven't talked any numbers yet," Alexander said.
He arrived here Tuesday because he is on the executive board of the NFL Players Association, which is having its annual meeting with league officials as part of the NFL Scouting Combine.
Alexander made the Pro Bowl after ranking third in the NFL with 12.5 sacks last season, his 10th in the league and first with the Bills.
