Two people are facing weapon and other charges after threatening a man with a handgun in the 100 block of Grant Street about 5 a.m. Saturday, Buffalo police said.
Jamel E. Baxter, 21, of East Delavan Avenue, and Tanna J. Robinson, 25, of Debra Lane, are charged each with fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon and second-degree menacing. Robinson also was charged with false personation for providing a false name, police said.
Police said they caught up with the suspects on Greenwood Place, a block away from the crime, and the victim identified the handgun, which was found in a grill pit on a front lawn on Greenwood. The serial number on the handgun was defaced, police added.
