Airbnb is co-hosting a "Winter Party" at Canalside tonight. But it probably won't feel much like one.
With a forecast of some rain and a 60-degree high temperature, the event won't feature any ice skating, but will still give attendees a chance to mingle, according to organizers.
The Ice at Canalside will be closed today, Thursday, Feb. 23rd, due to unsafe ice conditions caused by the rain & unseasonably warm temps.

The event, also co-hosted by the Buffalo Home Sharing Club, runs from 5 to 7 p.m.
According to event organizers, more than 7,500 travelers have found a place to stay in Buffalo via Airbnb over the past year. Hosts who found guests via Airbnb earned $2.2 million in 2016, they said.
