Holder did a terrible job, yet he is given a free pass
Former Attorney General Eric Holder told his audience at UB he would have prosecuted for the financial crash if there was a case, but then proceeded to warn the same audience about their “dangerous complacency.” What a great example of Washington doublespeak.
The Crash of 2008 was the biggest rip-off of the U.S. taxpayer in our country’s history and not a single top Wall Street banker was indicted. In fact, these same bankers eventually gave themselves bonuses with taxpayer buyout dollars.
The “dangerous complacency” is the applause Holder received and free pass he gets for doing a terrible job.
