State troopers arrested a Sears employee Friday and charged him with stealing $2,500 of store merchandise over a period of time, police reported.
Joshua Kendrick, 21, of Williamsville worked at the Eastern Hills Mall in Clarence, where troopers were called Friday to investigate a report of employee theft.
Kendrick took items worth approximately $2,500 over a period of time, police said. The items stolen included lawn mowers, snow blowers and other store merchandise.
Kendrick was charged with felony grand larceny and released with an appearance ticket for the Town of Clarence Court, police said.
